What language do children use at school?
K1 to K3 (ages 3–5) are taught in English all day. N1 (age 2) is half a day in English with a foreign teacher and half a day in Mandarin, so our youngest children settle in gently.

Through Eco Kids’ exploratory international curriculum, we will broaden children’s horizons, like a falcon freely exploring the unknown world. We ignite children’s curiosity, cultivate their global awareness, and empower every child at Eco Kids to courageously pursue their own future.

In Eco Kids’ growth program, children can fully explore their self-worth. Through the Reggio Emilia approach, we guide children to discover the world and help them understand their own value through self-construction methods.
At Eco Kids Academy, we firmly believe that children construct their knowledge through hands-on experiences. Therefore, we adopt a Student-led Learning approach, where children take the lead in every project. During the projects, children play various roles within the team, engaging actively to build their own learning experiences.
For International Families
Eco Kids Academy is an international early learning academy in Linkou, New Taipei, for children aged 2 to 5. Our classrooms run in English, our curriculum follows the Reggio Emilia approach, and many of our families come from more than one culture. If you are new to Taiwan or raising a bilingual child, here is what parents usually ask us first.
K1 to K3 (ages 3–5) are taught in English all day. N1 (age 2) is half a day in English with a foreign teacher and half a day in Mandarin, so our youngest children settle in gently.
We follow the Reggio Emilia approach: children lead long-term projects, express themselves through art and hands-on work, and learn from each other in small groups. Progress is shared with parents through documentation and parents’ days.

02 / Our Philosophy
Eco Kids adopts the world-renowned Reggio Emilia approach, a teaching method that perfectly suits every child. Through our curriculum, children discover their own interests and express themselves using the “hundred languages” of childhood. Each child is celebrated as an explorer, while their perception of beauty is nurtured. In our programs, children engage in exploratory projects, learn through hands-on activities, and gain life experiences.
Additionally, they will discover the dynamic and static beauty of art through Eco Kids’ professional art courses.
At this stage, children explore the world through touch, sensation, and observation. We encourage them to express their emotions and ideas in their own way, finding joy in simple games and artistic activities. This is the beginning of their journey into the world of beauty.
Three-year-olds delve deeper into their interests and learn to work with others to complete tasks. Through hands-on projects and vibrant art activities, they discover the joy of learning while beginning to understand the diversity and beauty of the world.
Four-year-olds grow more confident in expressing their thoughts and creativity. They participate in exciting projects, from design to completion, creating their own unique works. In this process, their creativity and appreciation of beauty are further enhanced.
By the age of five, children have accumulated a wealth of learning experiences and can integrate their knowledge into more complex projects. They proudly showcase their creativity and learning achievements, using art to explore and reflect their understanding of the world, while deepening their perception of beauty.
